Just need to know what technique is being used in the introduction to Don't Stop Believing, by Journey. I assume it's very fast hammerons and pull offs, which I can almost play, with the song. However, I was wondering if theres more to it or not and if I could get any tips as I'm having some problems with it.

Thanks

It's just very fast picking, slightly palm muted - I'd put money on it being economy picked too for efficiency. Just master it slowly and gradually look to build up the speed over time as you get better at the technique.
Actually called Mark!

Well then, if it's picking, it's VERY VERY fast picking. Is it, in your opinion, super advanced? Or just something I need to master? Because a lot of people do it and make it seem like nothing xD I'll use a metronome. Thx

I wouldn't call that little run super advanced, you just have to practice.
