There was an April Fools joke on punknews that they were going to be Springsteen's backing band. I loled.

I'm going to see them with Rise Against, Alkaline Trio, and Thrice in October.

Yeah it should be a great show (as long as the new Rise Against album doesn't suck and they play mostly old songs and alk3 doesn't play too many new songs).

This is a great video

They seem like really cool guys.

Great video, they do indeed seem really sound. Makes me look forward to seeing them even more.

Rise Against were pretty dope when I saw them, but that was something like three years ago now

I can't wait until October to see that tour with them, Thrice, Alk3, and Rise Against, it's going to be amazing. I really like the new album, '59 Sound is probably my favorite song on it. I think they're going to get pretty huge, I flipped on Fuse today and they were playing the '59 Sounds video on it.

I saw them last summer and they were good, but the crowd was a big turn off. It was all preppy, fart boy types. I wish I could have seen them before they got big.

Definitely my favorite new band. I really like Sink or Swim, I haven't heard anything from the '59 Sound except for the title track.

CCs aren't on specific forums. We clean up the comments on the articles on the main page. So we don't really do anything on the forums.

They're actually pretty good. And from New Brunswick, about an hour from where I live. A lot of bands come out of that area it seems...

Just noticed this thread and I must post in it.

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant, brilliant, brilliant band.

Got my tickets to see them on the 3rd of December with a mate.

'59 Sound
I think I prefer Sink or Swim though, but that's just because "We're Getting A Divorce, You keep The Diner" is all kinds of awesome.

I finally got the '59 Sound. I love the songs, but I'm not too happy with the production. Whose idea was it to turn down all the distortion, make the guitars so quiet, and throw so much reverb/delay on the guy's vocals? It's produced like a damn pop album.

Sink or Swim was my first one, so I was not expecting that at all.

Yeah it's alittle over done, but overall I think it's a fantastic album.

i've not heard much by this band so i checked their myspace and came to conclusion that the singer sounds like a cross between brandon flowers and matt skibba.

i really like their sound overall, but to me, alot of their songs run together... sound the same. I only have sink or swim though which is good, but just sounds the same, when i previewed 59 sound, it sounded pretty boring.

Everyone on vinylcollective obsesses over these guys. It's insane the amount of people who collect every different variation of everything they put out. Good band though, I'm listening to The 59 Sound right now.

Saw them headline in Dallas, right before they went on this tour with Rise Against and Thrice. It was awesome. I didn't want them to get off the stage, ever.
