ive been playin for probably like 7 months and i was asked to learn to read music for my schools jazz band and try out
ive been playing tuba for a couple of years so im very familiar with the bass cleff i just need a way to learn how to read it on a bass i seem to be having trouble

Same thing happened to me when I went to play Jazz Band.
Try going to Musictheory.net
It will be pretty good, and use the trainers, and set it to Bass Clef.

edit:i already no what all teh notes are i just need some sort of a tool to help me memorize where the notes are on the frets

FRET PRO!!!!! I practice it everyday. Each string with 30 questions, and then all of them together.

Haha, EXACT same issue here. I probably should've started in the summer, but oh well...Anyways, it's pretty easy to read, it's just remembering the notes/chords that's the trouble, like you.
