I love the look of Grover Vintage Deluxe tuners on my American Strat, and I was just wondering if you guys think that they are worth the hassle (drilling new holes, no string holes in the pegs...) and the money for the amount of good they do, like to they really help the guitar stay in tune much better than the standard machine heads that came stock...

Also, I bought the tuners today, and I am debating now after discovering the troubles of doing it, whether I should try and do it myself and risk effing it up, or getting them to do it ($30) or just returning them and keeping my standard Fender tuners.

for $30 to risk screwing a $1000 guitar, i think its worth it

also arent they the ones where you cut the string first then put them down the middle of the shaft then bend and wind?
Get off this damn forum and play your damn guitar.
