My friend called me and told me some dude from Nigeria was going to give him $800 if he took $150,000 and met him at a bank so he could put it in a lock box. Apparently the guy was in a plane crash and that was his settlement money and people already tried to rob him. The guy showed my friend a wad of cash and put it in a bag and gave it to him. The walked for a bit then the guy left my friend at a McDonalds and went to go get something real quick and said he'd be back in 5 minutes. So there's my friend with $150,000 sitting in a McDonalds freaking out about the whole situation and my other friend who I live with calls and is like dude just take the subway, which is a block away, back real quick before that guy gets back to the McDonalds. I agree and we eventually got him to start leaving. At this point we were psyched and started day dreaming about Custom Shop Jacksons and all new amps and stuff. ( we're all in the same band ) 5 minutes later my friend calls and says the bag was filled with newspaper ( even though at one point he saw a wad of cash ) and his credit card was gone even though he never took his wallet out.

I guess the point of this thread is tell stories about time when you or a friend got robbed.

As soon as i read "some dude from nigeria was going to..." I stopped reading. Anytime you hear that, its a scam.
They credited us with the birth of that sort of heavy metal thing. Well, if that's the case, there should be an immediate abortion.

I play by my own rules. And I have one rule; There are no rules... but if there are, they're there to be broken. Even this one.

Well, I guess it's an improvement now, since they used to scam people out of gold in those days.

Your join date is December 07. I'll take that as proof that you've been using the internet for about nine months. I learned not to trust these things within a week.

Wanna buy some penis enlargement pills? Barack Hussein Obama is a Muslim. If you don't send me your credit card details and delete them from your computer, the Feds will come and take all you own. Black helicopters are piloted by aliens. I'm from your bank, but I forgot your social security number. Do you have it for me?
