In my opinon Calabrese, a horror punk/horror rock band from Colorado is the best new horror band. They are not like brand new but they are new compared to some of the other good horror bands. you should check them out if you like any horror bands like The Misfits, The Dead Next Door, and etc. Their myspace is www.myspace.com/calabrese

The Damned and T.S.O.L. are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head that I ever liked, but I'm not sure how "horror punk" either of them really are.

My Chemical Ramance. Anyone heard of them?

I totally heard them on the best indie radio station for underground bands. I loved them. It's weird nobody has heard of them.

I recently had a dream that my dad died and my mum spent the life insurance payout on a new Indian dad, who told me to convert to Judaism, even though people usually change religion in September.

The Cramps, they have that whole B-Horror movie thing going on, right? They're awesome.

I think the whole horror punk thing is pretty lame though. It's like "hey, look at us, we can rip off the Misfits!" But hey, that's just me.

I don't really like horror punk. But when it comes to psychobilly, I like the Cramps, the Nekromantix, and Zombie Ghost Train.

**** horror punk, it's seriously the worst sub-genre of punk.

SHHHH, horror punk is awesome, balzac is pretty good if they count
I want to go as far to the edge without going over. Out on the edge, you can see all kinds of different things.

which guy?

I just found out that Horror punk is worse than Folk punk

Threadstarter... I assumed since this was his only post, he was probably advertising for his own band, but he lives in Ohio and is in two other bands.. doing 3 things at once in each. They probably even play shows together, and it's probably just him and one other guy on stage for an entire show.

lol watched his profile........there was a time, when I could have said I´m in 5 bands, because two asked me and I was in three others.......a band consisting of one person is no band, because they cannot play live etc.

You underestimate his ability to play 3 instruments at once...

I heard he once played guitar, drums, did vocals, juggled chainsaws, bare-fist boxed a grizzly bear and chugged a beer all at once... Didn't even spill his beer.

sounds as if he was Chuck Norris

no chuck norris would bare-fist boxed two grizzley bears, with one hand. he is no chuck norris.
