I pretty much just want a wah pedal for metallica songs, so my question is whats a good wah pedal to get me close to metallicas. I know they have a metallica wah pedal out but it seems a little to pricey.
I think I remember reading somewhere that Kirk uses a Dunlop Crybaby.

Try that.
*hopes no one notices lack-of-sig*

My usual advice; stay 100 miles away from the Boss PW-10 and you should be sweet.

But yeah, Kirk uses a Crybaby. I'm not sure which, but any one should get you close to a 'Tallica sound.

If all you had to go on was the forum you'd think a Decimator could cure noise caused by dodgey stage lighting and restock the ocean's population of sperm whales
You would probably be able to get Kirk's wah tone with a 535Q, but definitely not with an Original.

How old are you?

Old enough to yell rape.
Do not buy a Original Crybaby unless you want a cheaply made, harsh sounding wah that you'll hate within 5 mins of buying

Look at the Ultimate Wah Thread or just try these, i'll sum up the ones which will handle Metallica esque gain

Dunlop Crybaby 535Q
Dunlop Slash Crybaby
Dunlop Crybaby From Hell
Morley Bad Horsie 1/2

He does but a decent one will set you back at very least £400 on eBay. Just go for a cheap alternative, the difference wont be that big
