Break Even own. There are a lot of great bands that don't even leave their state. Most bands are from Melbourne though. NSW has more metal than anything.

I love Carpathian
SHE walks in beauty, like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that's best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes:
Thus mellow'd to that tender light
Which heaven to gaudy day denies.

#22
Next closest shows are like 2 hour train trips away, screw that haha.

Where did you get tickets from? Like, a distributor? Moshtix has some but not the two shows I wanna go to, and the last Sydney show Carpathian played sold out, so I don't wanna risk getting it at the door.

I don't get Ceremony I don't have to travel to Sydney to see Shipwreck now though, even though I'll go to both shows now.

Dude just go to the Sydney Ceremony show.

And tryyyy to sneak in to the o/18s cos that line-up is soo awesome hahha.

What's the line up for the 18+ show? Problem is, I'm seeing Carpathian w/ Shipwreck AD twice plus getting a Shipwreck hoodie, I just bought The Carrier's hoodie and a Dropsaw shirt, and I dunno about time. It's the show on the 28th, right?

9.28.08
Hermanns - Sydney
Day Show - All Ages

Ceremony
TBA

9.28.08
Hermanns - Sydney
Night Show - 18+

Ceremony
Homewrecker
Whie Male Dumbinance
Ill Brigade

Yeah money is going to be an issue for me too. Train each way is 20 bucks, plus whatever the show costs, will probably end up costing around 80 all up. Pity cos I really like ceremony haha.

So you're gonna go to both shows? I wouldn't wanna hang around in Sydney for a few hours waiting for the next show and no one I know is going. I'll still definately go to the AA show, but staying all day isn't really an option. I'm gonna assume the concert is around the $20 mark, considering the Carpathian/Shipwreck tour is full of only $18 shows.

Thinking about it, I'll probably have the money for the show. It's a $3.70 return ticket to anywhere in the city (like, city circle) for me, plus busfare, then a drink or so. Probably won't get Merch, I've gotten a lot recently and I have more to get from Carpathian and Shipwreck. It'll be like, $20 for the ticket and $20 for whatever it takes to get there and back and to keep myself happy.

Sorry about the double post, sad news here.

No Apologies have broken up, and they're playing their last ever show on November 22, at the Manning Bar. It is an All Ages show, with some absolutely awesome supports.

'No Apologies Last Ever Show' - w/ Miles Away, 50 Lions, Bad Blood and Persist

Might not be able to afford it, but if I've got the cash I'll go to both.

Come say hey if I do make it down dude.

Hmm are Deez Nuts Australian?

I think the singer was from IKTPQ?

Their Clean singer or the screamer? If you're talking about ed butcher(screamer) he went to Eternal Lord. I always thought their drummer and one of their guitarist or something made Deez Nuts, i'm not sure though

The Red Shore were pretty good, RIP Damo & Andy.
Gear:
Ibanez GSR200FM
Ibanez SW35 amp

Jackson JS30RR
Cheap fender amp

Getting a better guitar amp after christmas.

Deez nuts is pretty much all JJ peters from prom queen, I thought. I know he does the vocals, and the drum style sounds like his, even says it was all him on the disc.

The Drummer and the guitarist were supposed to do a vegan side project soon.

But as for butcher, has anyone checked out his first (i think) band The Hunt for Ida Wave? I think they're a ****ing awesome band, but I can't seem to find anyone else who's heard of them.
#39
I'm not sure if they're a full hardcore band more hardcore/melodic rock but Forgiven Rival are awesome.I might be seeing them again in a few weeks

Damn! Once again I miss another good show! On Sunday, I missed Dropsaw, Deez Nuts and Confession, and this Sunday I'm going to miss The Red Shore and Pergamum. Both are within half an hour of my house.
