My guitar is HH

I was thinking of stickingto Seymour Duncan Invaders in it. Good idea? My amp is SS so EMG's are a no-no.

What kind of wood does your guitar have? What styles do you to play?

My guitar is Basswood

I play stuff mostley with distortion. Crunchy rock to br00tal metal tones would be nice.

Metal? Then the invaders are a good choice for that, but if you will kiss your good clean tone goodbye because they have very high output. I tried a guitar that had one in the bridge position, and the harmonics just screamed, and I used a mid-scooped setting later, and the chords where just crunchy as hell. Go for them.

Bad idea, Invaders aren't that great and the other stuff you're buying is going to have far more impact on your tone - once you've got a new distortion and an EQ then I doubt you'll feel the need for new pickups. Also pickups are damned expensive for what they are in Oz, they're not a cost-effective upgrade at all.
