i'm looking for something suitable for bedroom practice and relatively inexpensive because i don't have a job at the moment. so far i've been looking at the Peavy Vyper 15/30 or the Roland Cube but i'm open to other suggestions. i play a few different styles but mainly punk, metal and hard rock.

thanks for your help

The 30 has the effects. It's a great practice amp. I have not played that pv, try them both and see which you prefer.

how is the cube for using pedals?

EDIT: or the Vyper aswell, i remember hearing modelling amps don't really go well with pedals.

If your going to use pedals, get a Valve Junior. You'll be glad you did.

Yes. You will need modeling to get a good metal tone, but it's a sweet practice amp.

get a cube with amp models. I think the 30x has them? I have a microcube and my friend has a 30x. If you can afford it, get a 30x. Best practice amps out there!
