hey,

quick question for you technophiles:

-can i install windows vista on my macbook with the installation disc that came with my dad's dell notebook?

thanks

I highly doubt it.

If you want to run a windows instance on a Mac go buy a copy of VMware Fusion. It'll be the best 40 buck you ever spent.

it's most likely a recovery disc rather than a full installation disc, so no.
Check out my guitar quartet composition The Lone Wolf and you will be rewarded! With a live wolf!

Are you a PROG-HEAD? I am.

It makes it really sloooooow and takes up most of your hard-drive, when combined with Leopard means its just completley gone and slower than a confused slug.

Yes you can. I have a macmini that is partitioned and has both XP and Mac OSX on it. You do have to use the Boot Camp disc to do it though.
