Maybe try a Bob Marley song or something. I don't think that's ever been done (probably cuz it would be terrible.)

The I kissed a girl song is actually pretty heavy

There's already a metalcore/screamo cover of it. I forget which band does it.

Get up there and do a Paramore song. Tell them it's to slay all the poseurs and seas of fat chicks.

SOS - Jonas Brothers

It's already kinda "heavy", so you would have to add like, pig squal vocals or something.

The point is, it's not original anymore. Also that wasn't the band I was talking about, the cover I was talking about is legitimately screamo. I'll go ask my sister, she plays it in the car sometimes.

Shit, I just asked my sister and it's Cobra Starship. I listened to it and it's not screamo like I thought. It's much closer to the original except with I Kissed a Boy.

Rick Roll everyone in the audience

I don't think there's anyone who isn't aware of that retarded meme. It's not funny. It hasn't been funny for almost a year.

Do Forever Young - Alphaville. That song is so awful, you couldn't make it any worse. OH OH IN THE AIR TONIGHT - PHIL COLLINS

Make an acoustic version of this. It needs to be slower and have clean vocals.

That would be hilarious.

Make a non-metal version of this.

A bluegrass version featuring Doc Watson.

Not TOTALLY original. Have you seen the guy on TV who did a lounge version of Rancid Amputation?

I still think In The Air Tonight would be perfect.

It's been done with harsh vocals. You should still do it.

EDIT: http://www.myspace.com/acousticcorpse666. They don't play the real riffs, but it's funny.

Something by Johnny Cash.

"Cry, Cry, Cry"
"Folsom Prison Blues"
"A Boy Named Sue"

I think "San Quentin " would work well. Seriously, give it a try.

Come on, everyone knows Rammstein did it.

Oh, also, try Last Kiss (Wayne Cochran). Everyone knows the Pearl Jam version. There's like 11 different bands that have made #1 just by covering that piece of shit song. If you cover it, you're guaranteed to make it big. :P
