Folks, bought a PRS SE Singlecut a little while back and it's a real beauty. The only problem is the fretboard on this one, like all the SE's in the music store feels dry, and they all have white flecks all over them. So far I've done one round of lemon oil on mine, and will be happy to do more liberal rounds every week if that helps. I've read that this is a common issue with SE's but I'm a little nervous about this. One of the reasons I'm nervous is I'm not sure how the dealer would service this if anything ever went wrong as the FB is not bolt-on but dovetail. Any suggestions/ experiences?
Just don't get too crazy with the lemon oil and let it puddle up. As long as you wipe into the board then it shouldn't be a problem.
