Interesting read. Searchbar came up with nothing.

Discuss. And for you "I listen to everything!" kind of people.. just use your favorite genre.

Such as, out of that list my favorite genre is rock/heavy metal, it describes me as:

Low self-esteem, creative, not hard-working, not outgoing, gentle, at ease.

Pretty much hit the nail on the head, except I'm very outgoing.

That's me.

EDIT: Altough, I kinda do work hard... Well, not really. I just don't put any effort into it and do good.

"One of the most surprising things is the similarities between fans of classical music and heavy metal. They're both creative and at ease but not outgoing."

Ha! Who remembers that thread about classical and metal fans?

Yeah, that's me. I do listen to a lot of classical too though. And a bit of folk, jazz and blues.

I have high self-esteem. Everything else is pretty accurate, though.

disagree with the low self-esteem part. for metal.

I went with reggae since it`s the closest genre I could find. Pretty accurate.

I don't agree with this, really.

Well, it may have to do with my expansive musical tastes, but still, on average I listen to more rock/metal.

But even then it's not CONVENTIONAL rock/metal. It's a lot of Genghis Tron, and ISIS, and Pelican, and Russian Circles, and Explosions in the Sky, and Minus the Bear, and My Bloody Valentine, etc.

Lots of different styles/textures going on there.

I don't even know what to think about this whole thing.

I went with rock/metal although I could have just as easily gone with indie, cause the description matches my personality more (I'm pretty gentle and easygoing).

so... what would you consider alt? I'm just gonna assume indie. I do have somewhat of a low self-esteem. I don't work very hard. I'm creative. But I am gentle, so they got that one wrong.
I can honestly say I have really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like.

The survey doesn't really take into account the fact that some people listen to more than one genre of music.

Finally,

A music-personality test that dosent say metal fans are depressed and angry

I would've said that rock/metal fans have a high self esteem
