As the title says.
I've got like 20 GB of digital music, and a fair bit of it is 320.
I'm an audiophile, but not that much.
I want to compress a lot of it.

I need a free program, no trial runs either.

Why do you want to compress it?

Why do you want to change it from 320? That's a pretty good rate really. A lot of things I find are 128 or 192. 320 is much better. It's hardly a difference though.

Vagina's tend to be not all that great looking most of the time. It's all... flappy. Looks sloppy.

I'd have to say guy junk wins but not by much. It's like winning a beauty contest against Steve Buscemi.

What hes saying is 320 can be toned down to 192 or 128 or whatever so he can save space

I want to compress because my MP3 player is 2GB.
One album @ 320 is about 130MB, depending on length and sampling rate, etc.
I can't tell from about 192 upwards.
And 320 > 192 is a huge jump in terms of size, but not in quality.

After recently upgrading to a nice set of speakers and subwoofer I'm regretting compressing my music, seriously, dont do it.

i reccon you want to change it to occupy less space.well shit, i use disc2phone a Sony Ericsson to change the bitrate of my mp3 and copy them to the memory stick. But for other files on my PC i use NERO 7 (premium) File encoder. Its great.and you can also convert them to other types of audio files.
And you also have a burning program

I'm not going to go to 128, 192 at lowest.
STOP TELLING ME NOT TO DO IT, the thread is not "Should I", but "what program".

Sorry to snap, but I've made my decision, I just need help how to carry it out.

You shouldn't consider yourself to be an audiophile at all if you're converting from lossy formats.

Kinda don't want to download a whole program like iTunes. D=

You said it had to be free.... and well iTunes will do it for free. Plus you can just uninstall it afterwards.
