What they say is true, I am a metalhead and have been known to be caring and gentle with people.

BLUES - High self-esteem
Huh?

and i agree, i have high self esteem and listen to metal.
When all else fails, ask the pit.
#5
heavy metal aficionados were gentle and at ease with themselves.

true

One of the most surprising things is the similarities between fans of classical music and heavy metal. They're both creative and at ease but not outgoing.

true

The general public has held a stereotype of heavy metal fans being suicidally depressed and of being a danger to themselves and society in general. But they are quite delicate things

Thats the biggest piece of lie I have ever seen. None of the things mentioned there are true, yes maybe for someone(maybe 2 or whatever) but that is just stereotyping, hes just saying that to get some publicity
Ferocious mumbles

dumb shit, each individual will vary with personality. Maybe the emotion derived from metal is the same but not the intent to listen or personality of the person.

i wouldnt call it a lie and say that it maybe fits for 2 persons

this was a Internet survey that 136.000 people took, even i took it!

maybe it doesnt fit for you but dont say it is all a lie.....

for the 'biggest survey ever' or something in this topic, its a bit general isnt it..

Why was it surprising to find a link between classical and metal? metal lead guitar is very classically influenced Pretty poor study IMO, but you can never expect much from studies such as thesse

bull. a person's musical preferance doesnt determine their whole personality.

i know lots of metalheads that are complete dicks, push kids around for no apparent reason and spit on old people and other stuff like that. These guys arent your scene kids either, they're the long greasy hair, slayer shirt, carved out arm guys. The cool part is they make a great band.

idk, this seems to be the general population... meaning that anyone who has listened to a metallica record = Metalhead

then again, they DID group heavy metal with regular classic rock/modern rock so idk.

/opinion?

Indie - Low self-esteem, creative, not hard working, not gentle

I don't know about that, Indie fans seem pretty gentle to me. And rock/heavy metal fans are said to be gentle.
but blues seems to make sense, describes me pretty well.

I like how the only one that downright says "Not Creative" is the Pop Charts fans.

how about the way your entire country generalizes a culture by the actions of a few, citing any Americans idea of a middle eastern person.

2)make obvious punk puns, possibly related to food
3)make fun of Rancid and NOFX again
