My uncle is leaving for Iraq soon and we're having a party for him tomorrow. I'm trying to find a song that would fit the mood/theme to play. Preferably something easy so that I could get it down in one night. Thanks in advance.

They credited us with the birth of that sort of heavy metal thing. Well, if that's the case, there should be an immediate abortion.

Yes, he wants to hear an anti-war song before he leaves.

"Wish You Were Here" by Pink Floyd. 4 chords, simple acoustic song. Even the solo is easy.

Iron Maiden - The Trooper. I think it fits it perfectly, however I'm sure you have a song that sounds better when done solo in mind...but I can't think of any.

I always thought Gunslinger by a7x was kinda cool for that sort of thing, my school used it once in an assembly, back home by fort minor if he's into that stuff, or The Trooper :P
it's what i'd do.
