i'm sure this question has been asked many times b4 but anyway
i want a peavy 6505
n i was considering getting the combo;

OR

head with a cab;

obviously, combo would be cheaper, n i was wondering if there would b any diffference in sound quality/usefulness, or shopuld i save up for the head and cab

cheers

Well if the speakers are the same, the difference is fairly small really.

A head and cab ends up giving you a bit more versatility, though- you can swap around the speakers to get different tones when you need to. Unless you're a recording musician/have the extra cash lying around waiting to be spent, I'd go combo.

EDIT: Gabe, you have a sweet voice in your 18W video.

Head and cab is a worthwhile investment if yo're considering getting more than 1 ap in the near future. It will most likely cost you less.
