What are some good songs to learn on the acoustic guitar? Songs like Neon by John Mayer. I want mellow acoustic songs, something that John Mayer or Jack Johnson would play, but I'm looking for a song around the difficulty level of Neon. Thanks!

The Leaving Song - by AFI (it's for electric guitar... but it actually sounds better on acoustic.)

Jack the Ripper - by Morrissey

On the Arrow - by AFI (my favorite out of the 3)

Tangerine - Led Zeppelin

Check out The Allman Brothers, a lot of their songs sound nice on acoustic and there's some amazing live performances of them with acoustics.

Mellow? Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here" is as mellow as anything and fun to play.

I came up with this kick ass riff on my ukelele when I was 12. Find out two years later, it was smoke on the water. Got my hopes and dreams killed..

If you want to find acoustic songs go to the "Which acoustic song?" thread in the acoustic forum. there are quite a few songs all categorized by style in there.
