Hey guys,

I recently sold my 6505 and cab due to finacial constraints.

Now, an opportunity has come up for me to buy a 6505+ with an XXX cab.

My question is, how does the 6505+ compare to the 6505 besides having better cleans? (Greater control over the EQ) I've heard that the + is not quite as punchy as the 6505 - Is that correct?

While I have your attention, what is the XXX cab like? Good match for the 6505+?

Thanks guys,

Just use an OD with the gain channel.
Then there's this band called Slice The Cake...

Bunch of faggots putting random riffs together and calling it "progressive" deathcore.
Stupid name.
Probably picked "for teh lulz"

Why?

But anyway get a better cab for it, peavey cabs arent up to much.

This is true.

Get a different cab if possible.

You can boost with the OD if you choose to, I liked it. But its not required.

Thanks guys,

I heard somewhere that the gain wasn't quite as ballsy...But I guess I could be wrong. I loved my old 6505 so I hope this will be similar

I had a terrible cab before and it still sounded brutal as anything...

Cheers,
