Hi everyone,

I really like the SG look and tone (Angus Young fan ) and I'd like to get one...
Unfortunately, Gibson is way to pricy for me.

Any suggestions for a budget around $300-$700 ? Epi, ESP, Tokai maybe? Others ?

you could probably get a used MIJ tokai/burny/greco sg copy for that...
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

Also, ESP Vipers are shaped like SGs on crack. Check those out if you mainly play metal / want EMGs.

He want's to play AC/DC.

I would say the G400, and save up to get some really nice pickups in it.

I saw an epiphone sg today but it had a satin transparent red finish, and a full size black pickguard, it looked like an upgraded g400, but I have no idea

^ That would be the G400 1966. Based on a 1966 SG

That makes sense! Thank you very much Lil Macker!
That would really suit the TS too, its very Angus Young looking.
