How are those pickups? From the site, they seem like exactly what i want according to dimarzio.com, but do they sound good? How do they sound when compared to evolutions? And do they go well with mahogany?

Thanks in advance.

I heard they were aweful for cleans, so if you wanna play clean look elsewhere,

In my luthier guitar I will have a mahogany body and maple top with a d-activator in bridge and a SD duncan distortion w/coil split + the emg afterburner

i beleive its great for bridge leads, according to one of my friends, but neck position there is better

DO NOT GET THE NECK POSITION!! i have it right now and it sounds horrible. it gets completely mudded out with any distortion. i dont know about the bridge though
