I play Rhythm guitar, and my dream tone is the sound of the guitar in the beginning of Remedy by Seether. Obviously as I'm lacking in a pro set up, I won't be able to hit the exact tone. But I want to get as close as I can with what I have.

So using what I have, how could I get this tone? I have:

-50w Low Gain Tube Combo w/effects loop
-Metal Muff w/top boost
-Bad Monkey
-MXR 10 Band
-Boss Noise Suppressor

Thanks a ton to anyone who can help!
Guitars:
Epiphone Les Paul Special II [Heavily Modded]
Hand-Built Jem Copy

Epiphone Studio 10

Boss Noise Suppressor
Electro-Harmonix Metal Muff w/ Top Boost

I'm sure someone knows at least in general how to EQ stuff to get a crunchy tone like that...

You can't really EQ a tone. It's more then amp then anything. Playing with the EQ is the like the final mixing over a track. It's for tweaking and what not.

What is your amp? Specific model?

Oh wait, nevermind.

Well from what i heard when i listened to it brief it sounded like you should boost your treble, while pushing it with the bad monkey. This is what i would try at first. Also how gainy is the crate? If when pushed witht the bm its not gainy enough then try the MM.
