was watching Pink Floyd: The Wall the other day with my brother, before trying to learn some of the songs off the album by ear. I never really liked Floyd 'til I heard this album (I thought Dark Side was overrated a tad) and this is the only concept album i've heard where the concept actually enhances the music rather than limiting it.

I've heard both NIN's "The Downward Spiral" and The Smashing Pumpkins' "Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness" as being referred to as the "Wall"s of the nineties. It's my opinon that while The Downward Spiral has almost the right atmosphere and MCATIS has almost the right amount of good songs, neither really moves you in the same way. plus, the Wall was 15 some years before.

Just wondering what you all think...i'm bored
