So this may sound like a stupid question but what would you plug a microphone into? How would you set it up because we are currently plugging our microphone for our vocalist into a guitar amp and it isn't loud enough. Also, how much would this set up go for? Thanks a ton!

Before my band bought our PA system we used to plug our vocalist into multiple hi fi speakers that our drummer rigged up.
it sucked.
