I have a jackson SL3 Soloist (floyd rose original bridge) its got 10's on right now, just set it up and for some ****ed up reason the action is like 3mm

its not that hard to play but it makes no sense why i can't lower it. I tried the truss rod and I got it set up right I'm almost 100 percent sure. Its not the nut either.

what could possibly be wrong?

Unless you're sure she likes you, telling her you like her has a 110% chance of failing.

But hey, at least you have a 10% chance of absolutely guaranteeing failure.

Glue some wood on your fretboard...

But seriously either the neck is too concave, the nut is really tall, or the bridge is too high. Other than that, take it to a shop i guess.
