I want my guitar pretty and before modding it. I have some questions

The paint HAS TO be aerosol spray?
Can I use watercolor? (Weird question, I know)

How do locking tuners work exactly?
I know tuning while they're locked will snap the string, what about using the tremolo?

watercolor??? maybe if you seal it with like plastic or something, but it isnt good at all. spray paint it. you cant afford a 5 dollar can of spray paint?

snaps. i think that's impossible. you can get a watercolor look on a piece of plastic. maybe you can glue on a piece of paper to the pickguard and watercolor that, then you can protect it somehow.

Painting directly won't work?

my guess is water color will just turn into beads of water if you try to paint on a plastic pickguard. if you want to hand paint i guess you could use acrylic.
i used to be a mod, then i took an arrow in the knee.
