OK so me and the missus had a bit of an argument this morning... When does the new week start?

I say Monday - Seems pretty logical to me.

She says Sunday - Bewildered me.

However my Mum says Monday and my Dad says Sunday.

It seems we are rather split...

Help me please Pit Monkeys!

Monday.
I would think this would be obvious..
wen i ask they say that they fall into the habit smhw ........but nyways i think there is a connection smwhere. Now i being a teetollar will not give into this habit nyhw

FOR JUST £2 A WEEK, YOU CAN PREVENT THIS.

Monday is most logical. You go back to work/school.

Maybe it's a christian thing? Something to do with the G-man creating the universe in 7 days. Was the sun created on the first day?
#5
Technically the first day of the week is Sunday. But i would count Monday as the first day of the week, as it is the first working day!

it Sunday, in different languages, the days have the number in them and in more than one Monday has '2' in its name. But I can understand why some think its Monday.

i thought sunday was the day of rest after "he" created the week.

either way, its all relative. whenever you start your week, is the start of the week. calenders say sunday, work scheduals say monday.

i say you find more important things to let your women argue with you about. you might not get laid because of this. think of it that way.

I think it depends on what region of the world you're in. Our calendar starts weeks on sunday, but Spanish calendars start on Mondays.

This guy should meet new women.
They aren't ALL that rediculous about sex xD
But most are, so unless you're lucky with yours do watch out with discussions like that :s

It has to be Monday in my opinion.
Because Sunday is the day to relax and get back to normality before the week STARTS again.

International standard sais that monday is the 1st day of the week.
Christianity however sais that sunday is the 1st day of the week. Many languages have the numbers '2, 3, 4) hidden in the names for monday, tuesday and wednesday.
But I'd just follow international standards.

So what? September, October, November and December have numbers in their names but I don't see you arguing that the year starts with March.

We Jews start on Sunday. Like, God created the universe in 6 days and on the seventh day he took a rest. Jews...
