Like, what musician has influenced you in a certain part of your playing?

Ex.:
Rhythm: James Hetfield, Izzy Straddlin, Keith Richards
- Lots of Downstrokes, Palm Muting, Scratchy Riffs (the x symbol on a tab), suspensions
Lead: The Blues (Just any blues guitarist)
- Very Bluesy solos.
Hey look, a stoner/doom album.

GENERATION 27: The first time you see this, copy it into your sig on any forum and add 1 to the generation. Social experiment.

I'd say Keef and/or Clapton just cause I listen to so much of both I suppose they seep into my playing a bit.
They credited us with the birth of that sort of heavy metal thing. Well, if that's the case, there should be an immediate abortion.

I guess maybe also Petrucci

I play mostly rhythm. I like to play riffs that are heavy, yet melodic. I like the major scale, and the lydian and myxolidian modes. When I solo, I tend to alternate-pick a lot. I also play tons of harmonics, of the natural, tapped and pinched varieties.

EDIT: forgot Mark Knopfler and Pete Townshend

On a side note, I went to your profile in hopes to hear how the influence makes you sound.

I clicked on "Line6 Toneport test" and, at the same time, "Always" by Architects started playing. I thought I got my face melted from you.

Haha, I should probably get rid of that playlist. It pisses me off when I check my own profile for comments and such.

My playing is like BTBAM but far less good. That should sum it up
