I got my microcube awhile back. I recently discovered that the MIC channel is really good for distortion because it is literally overdriving the amp without any modelling stuff. it sounds more pure and crisp to me.

My question is whether or not this will hurt the amp if I use it too much(ie all the time).
any second opinions?
oh and now im starting to think I wouldnt hate solid state amps as much as long as its not a modeling one. the modeling always seems to make the sound muddier and more distant.
Well there are plenty of nice ss amps and probably most are modelling. The Cubes and Vox AD's are examples of good lower priced ones.
