please...everyone of you pray for the Battle family...one of my best friends is named Roderick. and he has had a history of heart problems. that is what his mom died of.

he was at church today, and he passed out, and when the ambulance got there, he wasnt breathing. they rushed him to Stroud Hospital(10 minutes away) and then medi-flighted him to Children Hospital in OKC.

He didnt make it to the hospital. he passed away in the helicopter.

so, everyone. please pray for all of us. cause he was one of my best buds, and he was a drummer. we had so much in common.

please pray.

thanks

He died in church? Wow that's ironic. Usually people go to church to be saved.
All the same, R.I.P. and my heartfelt thoughts to his family.

Good demotivating poster material here.

he was my age...

15...

here's the story.

they were at church, about 4:20'ish' pm. he was playing the drums, and they say he was playing them like he never, ever has before. he got a standing ovation, he stood up, raised his hands. looked over at his grandma, and smiled. then fell down.

from then on he was with God.

thank you all so much for your prayers.

man, I'm really, really sorry to hear that...

At least theres no doubt you know where he is now. It's easy to say that when an older relative passes away... that he(/she) lived a long life and served God and is in heaven now.. but it's really tough in a time like this, I know....
It's hard to type what I'm thinking while making it sound the way I want...
But you can look at this in that kind of way, as well. He was using his talents for worship, and it's tough for me to make a statement like this, because I didn't know him personally, and even if I did, it's between him and God, not any of his friends or family or anything, but that he's in heaven now and you should be glad for that, and celebrate the life that he had. And like I said, it's hard to convey emotion or the tone of my voice over the internet.. In no way am I saying 'don't be sad'. I never met him, and I'm sad to hear the news.. just be happy for the friendship you had, and remember, you'll see him in heaven again someday.

Sorry i'm not very good at typing what I feel, but I did my best. I hope you get what I'm trying to say..
I'll pray for you, his family, and friends.
My condolences to all of you who knew him.
