I just bought a Peavey Delta Blues off a hick from craigslist. And he smoked quite a bit. I don't like the smell of it and it stinks up my room. I love the amp, but I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to get the smokey smell out of the amp.
It's black tweed if that helps.

I've heard dryer sheets should help and baking soda as well, but I'm not sure.

Oh yeah, and I only paid 250$ for the Delta Blues 210.

I dont think the amp is gonna like the dryer sheet option all the tumbling might damage the tubes lol

Just Joking...

There should be a de-deodorizing spray you could pick somewhere other then that I dont know man.. Good luck..

The scent is probably in the wood.

You'll at the very least need to re-tolex.

Leave it outside as long as you can, I would guess that would help.

Didn't you say that you had a stuffed fox that you would occasionally fuck?

It's not a fox,it's a wolf.

if it's a open back(cause i don't know) take a cup with vineger in it and put it in the back of the amp. friend told me it works, but i've never tried it.

Pick up smoking so you are used to the smell and like it. Then when you go to play your amp it will relax you and make you play infinitely better.

My guitarist smokes at band practice and the smell stays on my strap, but not my clothes. It's weird.

Is there such a thing as a heavy riff with out chugging on the e string?
