ok so ive decided my acoustic guitar strings are way too tight. i think they're like gauge 11 or 12.

i always have my acoustic in standard, so what would be the best strings to use? .9s?

also, when stringing an acoustic, is it the same method as an electric? put the string through the top of the machine head, then turn?

ehwn changing the strings, just do the same as an electric. but i'd opt for 0.10s in your acoustic instead of 0.09s. when strings go that light, you can't tne down or anything, they sound thin and weak and they get floppy when you strum hard.
