This is my last general question.. I am going to put together a bunch
of small questions I have and just post one thread and go from there.

The Maj pentatonic shape is the 2nd shape of minor right?

so if you want to play the 5 positions of a maj pentatonic
you just start on the 2nd shape of minor right?

and for minor you could think of starting on the 5th shape of maj?

That is correct. There are five pentatonic shapes that cover major and minor. Once you learn all five, you technically know the five major and five minor ones, although it is important to make sure you have a good grasp on where the roots are for each depending on if you are playing major or minor.
