What's a good company to do the exam through? Rock School? I'm thinking of doing Grade 2 or 3.

What would I expect to know for each of those grades?
How do the examinations go? Will I need to do an improvisation piece?

Thanks.

Well, with Rock School (and any other) you'll need the book of pieces, which in turn comes with the scales etc.

I've had no experience with rock school exams though.

RockSchool exams are amazing.
They contribute to your UCAS points as well.

And the pieces are usually pretty decent.
One of my Grade 6 pieces was actually enjoyable.
