I am customizing my Warlock. This is the design I am going for. I will post lots of pics of my progress along the way. When I'm done I hope to have one wicked looking axe!!!

You realize they sell them already done like this right? Except its silver...

The questions people ask here makes me wonder how the TS's dress themselves in the morning and can shower without drowning...

I do realize that but unfortunately I didn't buy that model so instead I'll make my own and make it better, to my eye at least.

Any ways here's some more pics of my progress!

Just got my graphic on and I'm going to let it set up over night. I'll do all the trimming tomorrow and hopefully get it back together so i can post some finished pics!!

The body looks great, but it doesn't blend well with the fingerboard. I'm not saying buy a new fingerboard, it just doesn't blend in with the color scheme. Looking great so far though
Hello there.

I lurk a lot.

It's what I do best.

I'd say that would blend in fantastically with a maple fretboard...but that's just me haha. I thought you were gonna paint it though.

Clear coat that after the graphic sets on.

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.

I am horrible at painting haha! I love to draw and design but I can't paint worth a sh#t. I'm probably going to clear over it though once I'm done.

This is a buddy of mine's Telecaster (Fender ripoff lol) that I did up over the weekend.

Thanks man!! The material I use is called gear wrap. It's like the same stuff that you'd decal a helmet with, it's pretty good stuff. Then it's laminated with a high gloss laminate.

. . .why would people waste their money on those "Facelift" things when you can get great looking graphics this way?

I always though "printed on" graphics would look dodgy homedone, but both of those one's you done are lookin' pretty proffesional, you should sell them!

Very nice looking, actually. You should've done Emo Spiderman in black, though.
All my photobucket pics are dead so no links to my guitar build threads.
