Yes, I've used the word 'truthiness' in a real live conversation before. So what?

I hate that guy. He reads opinions from a prompter that I don't agree with!

PC > Mac in the way that Colbert thoroughly enjoys riding ponies underwater. I like Colbert.

I think Colbert would be perfect to play Ofdensen in the Metalocalypse live action movie!

His role in Strangers with Candy was nothing short of brilliant.

And his interview with Bill "Papa Bear" O'Reilly was ****ing fantastic. Fucking fantastic.

You'd still have one on the other side.
Also, I must agree I loved him in Strangers With Candy, as well as in Harvey Birdman. He was the PERFECT person to voice Phil Ken Sebben.

I thought Stephen did play Ofdensen, but after much research, it should have been that way.

Anyone remember the one where he interviews the Congressman from the San Fernando Valley(Where lots and lots of porn is made) Stephen asks the Congressman if porn is made in his district and the Congressman denies it. Then a pizza guy shows up and from their it evolves into a typical porno

Ya think?!

The man isn't funny in the slightest. Americans just can't do satire as well as the Brits.

I saw his show on FX a couple of weeks back and his humour doesn't quite gel with mine, in any way whatsoever.

I personally don't like British humor.

It isn't British Humour.
He isn't known over here at all really, and anyone who has seen it who I know has severely disliked it.
Perhaps it's his take on British Humour? If it is he has created monumental failure.
I hope it doesn't seem, like I'm young, foolish, and green.
Let me in for a minute, you're not my life but I want you in it

That's old. He has at least one more portrait in the background (can't remember). Also, doe anyone else think that the Daily Show should be included in this thread, as well?
Josh Homme writes the greatest lyrics EVAR:
"I wish we could get away
Drink wine and screw"

"Nicotine, valium, vicodin, marijuana, ecstasy, and alcohol
C-C-C-C-Cocaine!"

"I wanna lick you too much"

Do british people like anything that is from the US? Every american thing that is discussed on this board is constantly being undermined by you guys across the pond, even a guy like Stephen Colbert.

A guy like Stephen Colbert?

He's a terrible comedian doing a terrible attempt at satire.

Watch Bremner, Bird and Fortune for a lesson in political satire. Alternatively, try Have I Got News For You.

Both piss all over the Colbert Report.

British humor sucks. Every commercial I've watched in England makes me want to kill myself, there are absolutely no funny ones.

Colbert is the shit, fo sho.

Have you seen American commercials?!

They're clearly aimed at the chronically stupid - I remember seeing an advert for a mouthwash a couple of weeks back in NY and it had to label the 3D graphic of the mouthwash literally whizzing about the mouth with different coloured arrows and, eventually, forming into people as a 'dramatization' [sic]. I mean, is there any need to do that? Does the American populus need to be remined that mouthwash does not, in fact, whizz around your mouth and morph into a human-like figure?

It was worrying.
