just wondering what gauge strings the c tuners are using...im strung with 11's but im still getting the slop

for drop C try "beefy slinky". theyre basically 11's at the top (still slack enuff for big bends) and 12s at the bottom (nice n tight for that dropped bottom string)

works for me

i use ernie ball not even slinkys 12-56 and they work great

I think 13-59 will feel more like the tension of 10's in standard and 12-56 will feel more like 9's in standard

i have a 25.5 scale guitar though so it means the tension is higher

cool.... but what I said still stands, but with YOUR guitar as the benchmark. ie 12-56 will feel more like 9's on YOUR guitar, and 13-59 will feel more like 10's on YOUR guitar (in std tuning)
