LaFontaine, known as the "King of Voiceovers," died Monday afternoon at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. LaFontaine's agent, Vanessa Gilbert, tells ET that he passed away following complications from Pneumothorax, the presence of air or gas in the pleural cavity, the result of a collapsed lung. The official cause of death has not yet been released

Yup, "Thunder Throat", "The Voice Of God" or simply Don "The Voice" LaFontaine died on September the 1st.

If you're not sure who he is, watch a movie trailer . He's in so many, and if it's not him, it's someone impersonating him. Trust me, you've heard him.

At one point in his career, he would be doing 60 voiceovers a day.

So, this is my small tribute to the man who will never be surpassed in the field of voiceovers.
