alright well im gonna be playing at a gig in less than two weeks. and most likely its gonna be hot(up to 90's-100 F) and humid. my band might get a canopy but we get fans for sure. and we will be playing for about a hour.

I've always wondered how hot it gets even when a band plays in jeans and a t-shirt on a stage where the weather is maybe 70-80. The lights for those kinds of gigs must be warm after a while, plus the big crowd adds heat too.

T-shirt and shorts, jean shorts if you've cut your own.

I wear boardshorts and sometimes sandals. But keep in mind that would be during a reggae show...not sure what your band plays.

Wear whatever you want no matter what genre it is. Don't be stupid and follow trends for whatever type of music you play unless you like what they wear. Personally i would not wear a shirt if it was going to be that hot, likely wear jeans or shorts and go bear foot (or at most sandals because i hate shoes).

I always wear a baseball cap (Boston Red Sox) under a raccoon hat it looks really cool lookin if you have some satch glasses and a beartooth necklace.

I always wear these on stage no matter what the conditions man up

edit: and I usually wear a plaid shirt over my T-shirt and blue jeans or jean shorts

even if you are playing inside and it is comfortable, the lights combined with moving around alot are murder. even if there are only a few lights it gets hot quickly

wear ur gym strip. that s wat i do when im playing a live show in my room to no one. i play in my shorts and tshirt. sometimes i add in a muscle shirt underneath so the sweat doesn't come out. and a headband is a must. have some towels handy. or u can just wear watever u want, but make sure to keep ur body hydrated.
#25
i usually wear what i was wearing earlier that day. it gets hot, but **** it, sweating isnt a bad thing. looks like your trying.

depends what kind of gig you're playing.

however, unless you're outside and its bright and sunny, no sunglasses.

and no jorts under any circumstance. ever. unless its as a joke and they're home-made jorts that are no longer than 3-4 inches below your crotch.

sorry but its no different from the guy wearing the sunglasses to the bar at night. it makes you look like a tool.

and I don't care if Satch wears them, they look ridiculous.

Be nude...?

I've repeatedly made the mistake of wearing thick pants, two shirts and a jumper to gigs that were 35 degrees Celcius (95 degrees Fahrenheit).
Indoors.

cargo shorts or loose fit trousers and a t shirt.

Make sure you wear closed toe shoes. I know of several cases where people havent been allowed on stage because they were wearing sandles. Its far too dangerous in that sort of environment to go bare foot.
