Hey guys not sure if this is the right place for this, so please correct me if im wrong.

I have a Ibanez RGTHRG1. Ive had this just over a year now and had no major problems with it. But the Floating bridge(Ibanez Edge Pro II Double locking) is becoming increasingly annoying now. Ive balanced it so it stays in standard E tuning. But the minute i bend the bridge backwards or forwards, the tuning goes higher or lower depending on the way the bridge is bent.

Can anyone help me sort out this problem or has anyone had this happen with their guitar?

Ha thanks. Id prefer not to take it to a guitar shop (although it may come to that) for 2 reasons
1. Id prefer to learn how to solve this problem for future reference
2. Most guitar shops in my town have really arrogant staff :P

knife edges might be worn

unfortunately edge pro II is less durable than the original

The knife edges are worn I'd say
Basically, when the knife edges are what help return your bridge to pitch, and because they are worn they won't return to perfect pitch.

I know on some Ibanez bridges, you could replace the knife edges.
