my thoughts exactly...

for me its either the original mini-cooper inline that transformed engine placement all together... or some crazy W12 german engine that pops out every once in a while...

but my favorite will always be the in line 6

Please, tell me.

it is the twisting force of the engine, which transfers thro the tranny, then the driveshaft,to to rear axle differentials and finally the wheels...it helps a lot when pullin

Yeah, but at least they still make them new, like the Goodwrench crate engines.

On a seperate note, the 426 Hemi makes me melt everytime I see & hear one!

Best: Lamborghini V12 (it is officially considered one of the finest engines ever made)
Worst: Anything american.
#38
Best: Honda RC149 GP bike - 1966

125cc 5 cylinder 4 stroke made entirely from magnesium, 9 gears, 35bhp @ 23,000rpm!
280 bhp per litre, which is pretty much the same as a modern GP bike makes - which isn't bad for an engine made over 40 years ago.

Worst I'm not sure about.

No, no-one in The Pit knows what torque is.

Torque = pulling ability/power of the engine/vehicle basically.
Power = strength of the engine.
