so i just won the school talent show and scored myself a $100 gift card

we played Bodom's version of Vivaldi's the four season

and we nailed it (except for 1-2 wrong notes thnx to my stupid nerves)

twas my first performance and it was awesome

was looking like we were in for some trouble as i was getting feedback in the sound check. however thnx to me using a digitech death metal distortion pedal for long enough i can control and hide feedback when i need to.

So the first thing i decided to do was tell the pit

so wat does the pit think of me should i be disappointed that i did screw up slightly?

Leniency? In the metal forum? This is unheard of. People get massacred here for just walking by.

Why does it matter what we think when we haven't even seen the performance?

In fact, yes, you should be disappointed in yourself. For shame.
#7
Everyone messes up a note or two on stage. You won, so forget it and enjoy your victory. Congratulations.

Well done dude!
Don't worry about little mess ups, it's not about messing up, it's about pulling it off so that no-one realises you've messed up!

$100? Nice. We would get something lame like... a gift voucher of £10 ($20) to a store no teenager in their right mind would shop at.

Decision

EDIT: there were 3 judges and one of them didn't like it (too loud apparently =P) so we pretty much got through from the other two
