Hey, Ive wanted a guitar with a tremolo now for a while, i saw the jackson dk2s for £500 but can get it for £400 and i was thinking if it was worth this much? I've seen that in america it costs about £250. Pretty much all guitars have a huge price difference in them..and another question. I've only ever had a mahogany bodied guitar and this jackson is alder with maple top, what would be the difference?

Mahogany has a deeper tone, and alder usually has a bright tone. Plus alder is light weight, unlike mahogany.

you just have to live with the fact that we can pay about 100% more than the folks across the pond for some stuff. it's all about supply, demand, exchange rates and importing bollocks.

£400 is worth it, good buy. it's a versatile guitar.
