I have recently gotten a squire bullet for about $80. So, I was planning on making something out of it. I am a huge Hendrix fan, so naturally I would like to go for the solid white look. I was also thinking of a relic look. Now heres my question: If I wanted to get that old rusty look on the tremolo how would I go about doing that? Is there a special chemical you can buy?

Also, would I need to do the same thing to the tuners, or would that damage them? Thanks in advance. Any help is appreciated

Really, really not worth it. No matter how good you make it look, the components won't be made any better.

Maybe dip it in water or something, take it out and leave it for a bit. Maybe repeat the process aswell.
