any suggestions on why one is better? ive heard schecter has better quality... and ive heard that the ESP is just all around better for playing metal

well if memory serves then they are really the same guitar but with different shapes EG same pups but i could be wrong

you are wrong....

the Schecter is a 24fret 25.5 scale neck, where the ESP is a 22fret 24.75 scale neck!
the Schecter also has the new coil tap EMG's, where the ESP only has the standard EMG's!

both kickass guitars, but I vote for the Schecter though

I'd go with the Schecter. Better specs. Always a good idea to try them both first.
Schecter's will do fine for metal.

even if the schecter wasnt god awful ugly i'd still go for the esp, you should play both though before you make a decision
