Hi guys! Like I stated earlier, I just got my Epiphone Les Paul Junior, my dream guitar, and now I want to make something special and stuff! So I play in a punk band trio, well more pop punk to be honest but punk is easier to say, and I was just wondering if anyone has any advice on pickup upgrades nd maybe some cool graphics to put on. Thanks

Influences: The Ataris, The Ramones, NOFX, Bad Religion, Rancid, Blink 182, Dropkick Murpheys, SUM41, Good Charlotte, Green Day, Mayday Parade, The Offspring, Pennywise, The Misfits, The Dead Kennedys, Dropkick Murpheys, Rise Against and The Clash. Yes I know a lot are pop-punk ... but pop-punk is catchy shit!

However, I am in love with Metallica and HIM ... so theyre a bit heavier than punk ... well a lot heavier than punk, just thought I would mention that. Thanks again guys!

HIM RULE!!!

I have added a picture of it... but I dont know if it has uploaded ... new to the whole Ultimate-Guitar posting thing

Swap the pickup out, to something with a high out put and that's quite treble-y.

And stickers, maybe? All the punk bands do it!

you should ensure that you have an amp that will get the "punk" sound.

Duncan JB.

Next!
Then there's this band called Slice The Cake...

Bunch of faggots putting random riffs together and calling it "progressive" deathcore.
Stupid name.
Probably picked "for teh lulz"

dont listen to the punks out there
I started off with an epiphone les paul special

in a punk band

just play it until you get enough money to get something nice
for punk all you really need is a loud distorted nasty sound anyway

you'll be alright with what ya got

dont waste your money

thats your dream guitar???
i smell a noob

who cares what you think of it. if his dream guitar is a jr let him be happy
we don't all have to dream for a $5000 custom

as for mods to it, i dont know if you'd be up for it but i think it would look pretty cool if it was relic'd a bit

for pickups, maybe try a duncan invader? pretty hot and can do metal and punk pretty good
