Hey. This is a song I wrote recently which I think has elements of metalcore and deathcore in it, I'm planning on doing this in a possible future band. Any opinions? I will do C4C if anyone wants.

Cheers!

i really like the whole melody going on
went to a free gig today at zavvi in manchester, there was loads of hardcore bands, but there was hardly any that had any kind of melody, which is the best thing to have

Thanks for the crit.

Nice intro, gets the song moving at a fast pace from the start. I like the next riff, except for the dissonance bars; I just didn't feel like this was the right place for dissonance, maybe that's just me. The next riff reminded me of Trivium, which is a good thing. The short solo was pretty cool. The riff following the solo was also pretty good. The riff starting at 61 I wasn't too fond of; if I were you I would take that part out and keep the song at the same tempo. But I like how it ended with the chorus, that's defiantly something you want to keep.

Thanks for the crit mate, I like the tempo change bit but I think it doesn't seem to change very well... do you think it would be better if I could improve on the transition? OR just change it altogether?

Cheers

What can i say?
I despise deathcore and anything associated with that.

but this was gold.
i LOVE bar 32. It sounded more "Hardcore" than anything else to be honest.

Nontheless, Amazing job.

First I have to say I'm not much of a fan of deathcore.
But to the song->
The intro is nice very good melody and well composed. The riff after that is also good except the dissonance thingy on bars 12 and 16. I like also the next riff, but the smashing drums at start sound a bit harsh to my ear(might be just me). The solo's cool, keeps up the feeling. The riff that starts at 61bar, I don't like. Might be because I don't like deathcore, and to me it sounds like deahcore, or atleast some death-(?). Good idea to use the intro also as an ending, don't take it out.

I've never heard that song

Very good.
Most of the 'core bands have become far too stale and repetative.

This song sounds like it was influenced by All That Remains, Unearth, and Heaven Shall Burn. I don't mean that in a bad way either, as those are some of the only core bands that I really like.

Yeah, it was definetly influenced a little by ATR. Cheers

Good tune, i especially like when the beat changes at bar 25. Bar 36 was cool too. For Guitar one Bar 12, and 17-32 were very awesomely dissonant. In bar 45 and 49 what guitar 1 does is good, but it hard to make out. Maybe make both guitars do the riff, it would sound better. But everyone likes something different, you got a good song here.
