I'm just trying to tab something out on MS word real quick before I forget it. I normally just put all the ---s in and then turn overwrite on to put the numbers in, but apparently the insert key isn't overwrite mode anymore on vista. Did a search on google without seeing much so does anyone know what the hell the overwrite key is on vista?
No, Insert is still the overwrite key in Vista.

Wait, why are you using MS Word to tab something out, notepad would be more appropriate for that.

Edit: Well technically, Insert isn't the overwrite key in Vista, it's the overwrite key in MS Word. The value of a key is assigned by the software using it, and you don't really use Vista to word process.
