Who is the oldest active, gigging/recording guitarist that you know of?

My guess would be Les Paul, who's like... 93 or so... dunno if he still gigs...

Anyone have any idea?

Les Paul still gigs. Forgot where.

how old is B.B. King?

83 ... in 2 days.

As far as remotely well-known names go, it's almost certainly Les Paul. I'm sure there's a 100-something guy strumming away on his porch somewhere, though.

If we're judging by looks then I vote for Keith Richards.

I heard that when he dies they were going to take his skin and cover the discovery space shuttle with it to protect it from the harsh space environment

David Honeyboy Edwards is 93, I believe.
And he is still awesome.

But he's like 20 odd days younger than Les Paul!

Don't be an idiot.

He'd have to be able to die in order for that to happen.
Funny words.

Just because Keith Richards looks like a corpse that crawled out of its grave after being buried for 100 years ... doesn't mean he is one.

Keith Richards looks older than age itself.

First thing that comes to my mind is Les Paul, really.

I was going to say Johnny Winter, but he just looks old. He's currently 64.

^Actually he seems pretty old too. Saw him last year. Wouldn't have surprised me if he would have died the next day. It's very sad really. He has had big health problems (because of him being an albino). For an example he almost has no voice left. He can't see anything (they actually had to lead him out onstage and put the guitar on him, since he couldn't see anything) and is in really bad shape.

he actually looks worse than richards, have you seen pictures of this man without a shirt!?! Pretty sad.

Les Paul is the oldest player I can think of that still gigs a good amount.

Its not about the Radio its about talent, the front man has a bigger vocal range than Micheal Jackson and he can sing from heavey metal to high pitched ...No.12 on the top 20 under rated guitarists of ALL TIME...etc

Also because of his condition, as I mentioned. He's got very bad health.
